Uzo, the co-Founder and Creative Director of UZO Beauty is a renowned Global Artistry Director, Global Makeup Artist and Celebrity Makeup Artist (with A-Frame Agency) with 30-years of experience working in the beauty industry. She graduated from Medical School with a dual degree in Medicine and Surgery before her multi-faceted career began with prestige cosmetic brands such as NARS Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and YSL Beauty. From developing and training younger makeup artists, consulting on product development projects, to leading fashion shows and becoming an in-demand beauty authority featured in numerous US and international beauty, fashion and digital publications such as Vogue, Elle, InStyle, Vanity Fair, W Magazine and The Zoe Report, Uzo’s work has been featured in editorials and campaigns (Vogue, V Magazine, Marie Claire) and has also graced the red carpet (Academy Awards, Golden Globes Awards, Emmy Awards, Grammys Awards) and Fashion Week (Rodarte, Philip Lim, Julien Macdonald, etc ). Her high-profile clientele includes Naomi Campbell, Milla Jovovitch, Beverly Johnson, Grace Jones, Kirsten Dunst, Tessa Thompson, Aurora James, Yara Shahidi, etc. She has also worked with celebrated photographers Patrick Demarchelier, Nan Goldin and Annie Liebovitz.
