Uzo, Co-Founder and Creative Director of UZO, is a renowned Global Artistry Director, Makeup Artist, and Celebrity Makeup Artist with 30 years of experience in the beauty industry. She graduated with a dual degree in Medicine and Surgery before starting her career with prestigious cosmetic brands like NARS, Bobbi Brown, and YSL Beauty.

From developing and training younger makeup artists, consulting on product development projects, to leading fashion shows and becoming an in-demand beauty authority featured in numerous US and international beauty, fashion and digital publications including Vogue, Elle, InStyle, Vanity Fair, W Magazine and The Zoe Report, 

Uzo's work features in editorials and campaigns (Vogue, V Magazine, Marie Claire) and has also graced the red carpet (Academy Awards, Golden Globes Awards, Emmy Awards, Grammys Awards) and Fashion Week (Rodarte, Philip Lim, Julien Macdonald, etc). Her high-profile clientele includes Naomi Campbell, Milla Jovovich, Beverly Johnson, Grace Jones, Kirsten Dunst, Tessa Thompson, Aurora James, Yara Shahidi, Francesca Eastwood, Pom Klementieff, etc. She has also worked with celebrated photographers Patrick Demarchelier, Nan Goldin and Annie Liebovitz.
